The North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY) is an international organization within the Union of Reform Judaism (URJ).  NFTY is a movement that builds strong, welcoming, inspired communities through teen-empowered engagement.  There is a wide variety of opportunities to get involved in St. Louis through NFTY.  Shaare Emeth (SETYG), United Hebrew (NFTY UH), Temple Emanuel (TEDY) and Temple Israel (TIFTY) are all Temple Youth Groups in the St. Louis Area.  Each youth group has individual events such as lounge nights, Shabbat services, and weekend events throughout the school year.  All teens involved can attend NFTY Missouri Valley events, where teens spend a weekend doing Jewish learning and meeting other Jewish teens from Missouri, Illinois, Colorado, Iowa, Wyoming and Nebraska.

NFTY also offers a summer program, NFTY in Israel. NFTY in Israel offers many different programs, from 4-week to 5-week programs, some traveling to Poland and Israel, and some just to Israel. It is through the URJ and offers an opportunity to meet reform teens from across the US while exploring Israel and all its offerings. More info:
