JCC Maccabi Games

Updated: May 14, 2019

JCC Maccabi games is a unique program that offers teens age 13-16 the opportunity to play a sport competitively in a Jewish environment.  The program takes place in a different city every year.  During the weeklong event, teens are in non-stop action: playing competitively during the day and having a social at night.   The program offers teens the opportunity to meet friends in the St. Louis Jewish community, but also to meet people from around the United States.  Registration try outs as well as parent meetings are held in the winter, typically around MLK day.  During the week of Maccabi, there is also an ArtsFest competition.  This takes place at the same location as Maccabi Games and is open to 12-17 year old teens.  They get to spend each day competing in items such as acting/improv, culinary, dance, musical theatre, rock band, star reporter, visual arts, vocal performance.
